When romance is in the air, little things mean a lot – so the sharing menu at Nuovo, devised especially for Valentine’s Day, is the perfect option.
Nuovo in Abington Street, Northampton, is situated in a building bursting with character. e one-time ne leather workshop – boasting high ceilings and contemporary décor – is well suited to the Nuovo dining experience and which combines the contemporary and the traditional.
The concept is cicchetti, inspired by Venetian cuisine, and offering small bites that can be enjoyed alongside a drink from the impressive and varied wine and bar menu.
For February 14, Nuovo is offering a set menu of cicchetti from which diners can choose seven to share. The dishes on the menu include risotto con salmone e zucchini, arancini, goats cheese with beetroot, baked scallops, slow-roasted pork belly and manzo brazo (a seven-hour braised beef with rich red wine jus).
To finish, there’s a Nuovo dolce cicchetti – a platter of desserts including vanilla panna cotta, chocolate torte, pistachio cannoli and frangelico tiramisu.
