Within a few weeks of setting up their new venture, Matt Dann and Jon Bautista knew they were doing something right, with approaches coming in thick and fast not only for their services but also from people who wanted to work with them.
Now, a just couple of months later, the Simply Workspace and Simply Techspace team numbers 15 and is expected to continue to grow beyond expectations well into the new year.
Furniture specialist Jon and IT expert Matt teamed up to create Simply Workspace and Simply Techspace – two businesses that together offer a one-stop shop for clients. Simply Workspace delivers a whole range of commercial furniture from chairs and desks, boardroom furniture and accessories, through to lighting and windows. Simply Techspace, meanwhile, is a full-service IT business, providing hardware, software, cabling, telecommunications, IT support and cyber security.
Such was the immediate impact of the launch that Matt and Jon have already been able to push ahead with a full telecommu- nications services roll-out and have set up a skills database so that anyone looking for a specialist in a whole host of sectors can call upon Jon and Matt’s knowledge and experience locally to help them find exactly what they need.
Matt commented:
“Firstly, the way things are going is far beyond our expectations, it’s just snowballed in a way that’s more than we could have hoped for.”
“The telecommunications side of the business is fully up and running and we’re still getting approached regularly by people who want to work with us or alongside us.
“Another new venture is touching on the recruitment sector. We find that people are often looking for a specialist – particularly in the IT sector – where they need someone for a short-term project but don’t necessarily need to recruit.
“We’ve built a database of local companies and individuals that we know across the region, and if clients come to us and we can’t help them or it’s a niche requirement, then they can access that database to find the specific skills they are looking for.”
The structure of Simply Workspace and Simply Techspace is being built around ‘pillars’ of expertise, individuals who will help to build the business while at the same time helping others gain the knowledge and experience they need.
This complete solution is available to businesses or organisations of any size in any sector, and projects range from a full fit-out of an entire block for a property developer, a set-up or refurbishment for clients in education or healthcare, or a fairly simple upgrade or office refresh for a smaller client.
