Central Milton Keynes-based MSP, Bluecube Technology Solutions, has recently closed the books on what has been a record year, growing by 45% .
Significant growth in client numbers over the past 12 months is reflected in a 60% increase in the number of employees, which last year prompted the need to move to a larger office space in Milton Keynes, and the opening of an office in London. Further expansion also enabled the formation of Bluecube Academy, Bluecube’s apprenticeship scheme, a programme designed to nurture talent from within the organisation.
James Hawker, Chief Executive at Bluecube, said:
“Like every business we have come through the other side of a very intense couple of years. The pandemic has meant there are a greater number of remote teams in need of our services. To meet this unprecedented demand, we have had to grow our teams; the number of client requests our service desk handles has increased four-fold and it is testament to how our team has responded to offer our clients the best IT services around.
“Alongside the pressures created by the pandemic, we continued to grow organically. We are now three years into a five-year growth strategy that aim to deliver 35% year-on-year growth. We have delivered against this target so far and intend to continue to do so for the next two years. We’re really focused on delivering outstanding customer service and consider ourselves as partners or extensions of teams with most of our clients. What sets us apart, and what I put a lot of our success down to, is our personalised service; every business that comes to us for IT support has a bespoke team to speak with and rely on, and I believe this is crucial in this industry to really excel at delivery.
“We are also heavily investing in and growing our talent this year. A prime example of that is our apprenticeship scheme, Bluecube Academy. We are expecting to take on 40 apprentices each year. We want to take people at the beginning of their career, nurture them, educate them, train them and give them a career. Our growth now means we can take someone from a junior role, through to a very senior role, which is an exciting opportunity.”
Bluecube is fond of fostering talent and supporting junior hires, with the majority of its current senior leadership team having progressed through the ranks themselves. Bluecube is currently hiring on a national and international scale for a further 20 roles, with 12 of these based in the Milton Keynes office.
