Weetabix Food Company was proud to welcome national hero Sir Mo Farah to its Burton Latimer and Corby factories today.
His visit was part of the “Weetabix All-Stars” campaign, which features sporting legends Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Ade Adepitan, and Leah Williamson. The campaign celebrates the influence of Great British and Irish icons in championing the cereal that helped fuel their journeys to success.
During the visit, Sir Mo met with operators across the Weetabix, Minis, and Alpen plants and officially opened the canteen to welcome staff to their Christmas dinner. Mo is pictured alongside staff celebrating the nation’s number one cereal. He brought his love for the brand to life by sharing personal stories of how Weetabix played a vital role in his success as an athlete, and how the ‘Weetabix advantage’ can be enjoyed by anyone – not just Olympians.

Colm O’Dwyer, Managing Director at Weetabix Food Company, said: “It’s not every day you get to share a Christmas dinner with a quadruple Olympic Champion! We are incredibly proud to have Sir Mo as part of the Weetabix family. His energy is infectious, and having him here to meet the team was a fantastic way to say thank you to our own hard-working ‘all-stars’ across the business.”
