Some of the most valuable moments for a team don’t happen in the office, they happen when colleagues step outside, take on a challenge together and connect in a different environment.
Ride High is giving Milton Keynes businesses the opportunity to do exactly that, while supporting vulnerable local children.
Through two upcoming events: a seven-a-side Charity Football Tournament and the Ride MK Cycling Festival, organisations can bring their teams together, build stronger relationships and enjoy time away from the office, all while making a meaningful local impact.
Kick off team spirit
Taking place on Wednesday May 13 at Sport Central, the seven-a- side Charity Football Tournament offers a high-energy afternoon designed to fit around the working day. With a 2pm kick-off, it’s an ideal opportunity for businesses to step away from their desks without losing a full day.
Teams of up to ten players can take part, with colleagues encouraged to come along and support from the sidelines. Entry is simple, with a team fee covering participation – no additional fundraising is required.
Expect friendly competition and plenty of fun, all building towards the cup final, presentation and a relaxed barbecue. RSM claimed the trophy in 2025, but the question is, who will take it home this year?

A challenge that goes further
On Sunday June 14, the Ride MK Cycling Festival invites teams to take on a bigger challenge together. With 100km and 50km road routes, and a 25km route on Milton Keynes’ extensive Redway network, there’s something to suit all abilities.
Unlike the football tournament, Ride MK is driven by fundraising, with teams encouraged to set up sponsorship pages and raise money in the lead-up to the event. This shared goal supports Ride High’s work but also gives teams an additional sense of purpose and achievement.
Crossing the finish line together at Ride High riders will be rewarded with a medal and the choice of a well-earned beer or ice cream to mark their achievement.
More than just a day out
Both events offer more than just time away from the office. They create space for colleagues to connect, improve wellbeing and build stronger, more motivated teams. They also provide a fantastic way for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility, while genuinely enjoying the experience.
Behind it all is Ride High’s work with some of Milton Keynes’ most vulnerable children, helping them build confidence, resilience and brighter futures through equine-assisted programmes.
Whether the team is ready to battle it out on the pitch or take on the roads and Redways, now is the time to get involved. Rally colleagues, choose a challenge and be part of something that delivers real impact – for the team and for local young people.
