After coaching at recent Blues Foundation activities, Bedford Blues fly-half Louis Grimoldby returns again on the foundation’s next Rugby Camps, which will take place over the summer break.
Over 1,000 young people have joined for various school holiday activations in the past two years; enhancing and learning new skills as well as reintroducing key elements of sport which were otherwise largely missing in that period due to the extremely stringent COVID-19 regulations.
The next two Rugby Camps will take on the familiar format and will bring together a perfect blend of experience and knowledge to focus on the key elements of rugby in a fun and safe environment.
Additionally, there will be numerous team building, resilience, friendship building and enrichment segments across all days, delivered through a variety of fun games and activities.
Dates have been confirmed as July 25 to 27 then again on August 22 to 24 (Tuesday-Thursday on both weeks).
Each day will last from 10am to 3pm with early drop off and late pick-up options available.
For children aged between six and 12, with all ability levels welcomed, this is the perfect option to work with first-class, highly skilled coaches on skill development within a rugby setting.
Prices have been frozen from those before the merger of Blues Foundation and Blues Community. This means either three-day camp is available for £70.
Blues Foundation are aware of the increased measures brought in following the pandemic and will continue to operate with preventative measures including the readily available supply of hand sanitiser to ensure safety of staff, parents and participants.
