Loss is something none of us can escape. It arrives quietly or all at
once, changing the shape of our days without permission. Grief doesn’t care about job titles or deadlines; it finds us all, sooner or later. In those moments, what we need most is connection – someone to remind us that life can still hold meaning, that even in heartbreak,
we don’t have to walk alone.
That’s exactly why The Never Alone Project (TNAP) was created. Founded four years ago by Ilze Lee, this small but mighty charity
has grown into a multi award-winning organisation, powered by a dedicated team who lead with heart and compassion every day.
“Wehaven’tdonethisalone,”saidIlze.“Everythingwe’veachieved has been possible because of the incredible team behind our charity, and businesses and community leaders, such as TC Group, who continue to stand beside us.”
Based in Northamptonshire, TNAP exists to make sure no one faces grief in isolation. Through one-to-one sessions, group programmes, and workshops, the charity brings comfort, understanding and gentle hope when everything feels uncertain.
In just a few years, the local charity has made a huge impact across the community, supporting hundreds of families, schools and work- places as they navigate the complex realities of loss.
The message is simple, but it changes lives: you are never alone.
Where businesses meet humanity
Behind every business there are people – people who have loved, lost and carried on. When those people choose to stand beside TNAP, they’re helping to build something lasting: a community that looks after its own.
Supporting TNAP isn’t about ticking a Corporate Social Responsibility box. It’s about showing what real leadership looks like – compassion in action. Whether through fundraising, sponsor- ing an event, offering expertise, or simply starting a conversation, businesses across Northamptonshire are proving that kindness has a place at every table.
“As leaders, we have the power to shape not just our businesses, but the culture of care around us,” said Ilze. “When local businesses choose to work with and support us, they’re helping to create communities where grief is met with understanding and no one is left behind.”
Small actions, lasting impact
The work TNAP does is made up of small, powerful moments – made possible by small, powerful gestures.
- £25 provides a memory box: a beautiful place to hold letters, photos and keepsakes that help someone feel close to the person they’ve lost.
- £250 funds a children and young people’s group: a safe space to talk, laugh and begin to find joy again.
- £500 provides one-to-one support for a young person: a lifeline of understanding and care when they need it most.
Each gesture, however small, says the same thing: you matter; you’re not forgotten; you’re never alone.
Standing together
When grief enters a workplace, a classroom or a home, it touches every- one. But when communities come together, healing begins faster.
Chris Dell, Head of Brand, Creative & Culture at TC Group said: “By joining us in supporting The Never Alone Project, you’re not just helping those who grieve, you’re helping to build a world that’s gentler, more compassionate, and more human. It brings a huge sense of pride to your workforce when you know you’re making a difference for so many.”
Support for this award-winning charity helps bring comfort, understanding and hope to those navigating loss. Every partnership and every donation allows it to reach one more family, one more school, one more person finding their way through the darkness.
Because when compassion becomes the measure of a community, everyone thrives.
