Where excellence begins and leaders are made

As Headmistress of The Webber Independent School, I am immensely proud to share our continued success and growth as we begin the 2025–2026 academic year.

For 12 consecutive years, our students have exceeded national expectations in their GCSE results, a testament not only to academic excellence but also to the strong character, confidence and resilience we instil in every young person.

At Webber, education is about more than grades – it is about preparing young people to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Through our personalised learning pathways, small class sizes and inclusive community, we equip every student with the skills, curiosity and adaptability they need to lead, succeed and make a difference.

Where excellence begins and leaders are made

This commitment to nurturing potential starts from the earliest years in our Little Webber Nursery, a safe, stimulating and inspiring environment where curiosity and creativity blossom. Children enjoy yoga, music and outdoor adventures in our Eco-Garden, supported by expert staff who encourage exploration, play and growth in confidence every single day.

In 2025, we are particularly excited to expand our Workplace Nursery Partnerships, offering local employers the opportunity to provide priority nursery places and tax-efficient childcare benefits for their teams. This forward-thinking initiative allows businesses to attract and retain talent, improve employee wellbeing and connect with a high-quality, values-driven educational setting.

From Reception through to Year 6, our Prep School builds the essential skills for life, blending the rigour of core subjects with sport, music, art and outdoor education. Pupils develop not only academic strength but also teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills, emerging as confident, compassionate learners ready to embrace challenges.

Where excellence begins and leaders are made

In our Senior School, we continue this journey, shaping articulate, ambitious and resilient young people with the qualifications, leadership experience and global outlook to excel in higher education and beyond. Through enrichment programmes, leadership roles and meaningful community engagement, our students graduate with the self-belief to stand out in any professional or
academic environment.

In today’s competitive landscape, Webber is not only educating the next generation but also building the skilled, adaptable workforce of the future. Our strong links with local employers, commitment to workplace nursery partnerships, and ethos of personal growth position us as a valuable partner within the business community.

I warmly invite you to experience the ‘Webber Buzz’ for yourself at our next Open Morning on Saturday October 11. Whether you are a parent seeking the best for your child or a business leader exploring opportunities for partnership, I look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant
learning community.
