Food & Drink, News | August 28, 2020

SEMLEP Food and Drink COVID-19 Impact and Business Recovery Survey

Food and Drink manufacturers and producers have been particularly impacted by COVID-19 and so a new sector focused survey is looking at these impacts, but critically wanting to hear direct from business as to what type and level of support they need to prepare for the months ahead as business and the economy start to recover.

As part of a SEMLEP Food and Drink Sector Strategy Board review of the impact of COVID-19 on local businesses, this survey will aid a review to identify the essential areas of support food and drink manufacturers need to address a variety of management and operational issues including: new ways of working, finance, innovation, supply chains or diversification.

The survey is open to all size of food and drink manufacturers and producers across the SEMLEP area. The more businesses that take part will help ensure existing and new support programmes are identified and targeted to where support is needed, including for your own business. The survey is comprehensive so as to assess the wide variety of impacts that food and drink manufacturers have faced over the past few months to help with planning for the future.

Take the survey here:

www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SEMLEP

The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.

The survey provides an opportunity for businesses to indicate if they would like to take part in a focus group or for a 1-1 discussion to expand on any of the information provided in the survey.

If you have any problems completing the survey please contact Rachel Mallows, Chair of SEMLEP’s Food and Drink Sector Strategy Boardrachel@themallowscompany.com, telephone 07855 755076.
