Fortus announces the launch of specialist Recovery division

Fortus Business Advisors & Accountants has today announced the launch of a dedicated Recovery and Insolvency business, Fortus Recovery. The new brand will provide essential advice, guidance and support to UK businesses facing a multitude of challenges from creditor pressures to potential insolvency.

Having been a long standing, well-known and respected insolvency practice, HJS Recovery has today become a key part of the expanding Fortus offering. The Fortus Recovery team are highly experienced and knowledgeable, having helped hundreds of companies with the vital business of restructuring, refocusing and recovering.

Fortus Recovery’s service offering not only includes business recovery services, but also Corporate Finance and formal insolvency solutions.

Commenting on the launch of Fortus Recovery, Gordon Johnston, Executive Director at Fortus and former Managing Director of HJS Recovery said:

“We’re excited to be able to share our experience and expertise. Our focus is to help companies, both large and small, find their way through the financial darkness by providing confidential business debt and recovery advice.

“We understand that each case has its own unique characteristics and as such, tailor our solutions to the particulars of the business and its issues. Fortus Recovery’s here to help all businesses in their time of need.”

Chris Timms, Fortus’ CEO comments further:

“We continuously look to develop the extension of our client services. Having worked closely with Gordon and his leadership team for almost 4 years now, the natural evolution of our business relationship was to bring together our propositions, and subsequently, Fortus Recovery was born. It’s a team led by experience, insight and a very rounded consultative approach which in turn, provides essential advice to business owners allowing them to refocus and ultimately recover. Businesses will always face uncertainty and challenges – it’s part and parcel of business ownership, so to have such experience ‘in house’ will ultimately lead to the positive development of our own people and future generations understanding what it ‘really’ means to be a business advisor.”
