Centre:MK welcomes new store, H Beauty, as shoppers are set to return

Centre:mk is looking forward to reuniting shoppers with their favourite stores and brands as it fully re opens on the 12th April. The regionally dominant shopping and leisure destination sees huge opportunity for the reopening as a study of 2,000 adults* recently commissioned by the centre found that over a third (33 percent) of the nation are looking forward to browsing the shops once again in order to rediscover their favourite brands.

Stores such as John Lewis & Partners, Primark, Next, M&S and TK Maxx are scheduled to fully reopen at centre:mk on 12 April 2021, while other major stores are preparing to extend hours to make sure they can meet demand. Harrods’ luxury beauty concept store, H Beauty, will launch its biggest boutique to date at the centre in Spring 2021. The store will welcome a host of new brands to centre:mk, as well as a range of fully experiential amenities including a luxury coffee-to-cocktail bar, blow-dry bar and in-store beauty treatment facilities. The 28,000 sq. ft. ground floor store will compliment centre:mk’s existing beauty offering sitting alongside the likes of Fenty, Charlotte Tilbury and Lush.

As one of the UK’s top 10 shopping centres, H Beauty is not alone, as centre:mk has been reinventing itself since 1979. In addition to over 160 retailers, independent traders and thousands of brands to suit all fashion and beauty tastes, new stores continue to open their doors with Hamleys, Dune, Lyons and Love Local examples of recent arrivals to centre:mk.

Supporting the community, Love Local Hub is the pilot store of a national project created to help budding retail entrepreneurs across the UK. The pop-up space, which acts as a showroom for 75 independents, will continue to provide a stepping-stone for small local retailers in the area.

Guests can expect a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience when returning to centre:mk with its spacious 2.5km wide mall, 18 exterior doors and all the procedures and processes that customers have now come to expect.

Kevin Duffy, Centre Director at centre:mk, added: “It’s great to be back and re-opening in such a strong position with a new concept from H Beauty focused on experience, at a time when experience is everything. Our guests will discover a great retail line up and exciting range of brands unmatched in the region which we are confident will give them the physical shopping ‘hit’ they’ve been craving over the last few months!”
