MHA MacIntyre Hudson has won the Best Advisory Services category of the new Business Resilience Awards, organised by Accountancy Age.
Launched last year, the awards are specifically to recognise those firms that helped bring stability and clarity for their clients during the extraordinary circumstances of 2020, and those who have generally gone above and beyond expectations.
MHA MacIntyre Hudson ensured round-the-clock availability of staff to clients; produced daily and weekly materials to enable clients to react quickly to the situation and the constant changing dynamics; and put in place as many protective measures as possible to keep their business going.
The judging process included interviews with clients who spoke extremely highly of the advice they had received, the 24/7 availability of the staff and the responsiveness of the firm with regard to updates.
One client commented:
“… a massive thank you to you and your colleagues for all the outstanding webinars and information you have provided. It has been seriously impressive, and I haven’t seen anything close to this from the big four or other accountancy firms.”
MHA MacIntyre Hudson Managing Partner, Rakesh Shaunak, said:
“It is wonderful to have a little formal recognition for both the amount of work and standard of work achieved this year and incredible efforts put in by all. This award follows on from the firm winning National Firm of the year, Tax Team of the year, and Large Firm Graduate and Non-Graduate Programme of the Year in 2019.”
