Community supported by local sport initiative

Blues Foundation are pleased to announce their latest exciting fundraising initiative, Starting XV, designed for local businesses in the local community to support their work.

By becoming a Starting XV Founder Member, businesses will enable Blues Foundation to garner even more support and fulfil the approach and programmes outlined in their recently announced Vision Document. The main focus over the next three years will be to focus significantly on increasing support to the local community through developing and expanding three work strands; wellbeing, inclusivity and skills.

Blues Foundation are aiming to form partnerships with at least 15 local businesses through this initiative and are proud to reveal that two local businesses, SHIFT Training Club and RAS Data Support, have already signed up as the very first members.

How to become part of the Starting XV initiative:

  • Starting XV is open to anyone, including businesses, who are passionate about supporting local vulnerable people.
  • By supporting one of the Blues four partnership packages you will become a member.
  • Starting XV is a pledge to support us throughout our vision period.

Since the official launch of the charity, Blues Foundation have been able to impact on hundreds of people from differing demographics and backgrounds through some of its flagship activation and community outreach programmes.

Blues Foundation Manager, Tom Harwood added:

“This is a fantastic way for local businesses to genuinely impact on the community around us and support local people. Thank you to the partners so far who share the same passions for our county as we do, please get in touch if you can help”.
