Delivery – even through a pandemic

Delivery. It often gets tagged on to the end of a sales process, but at ACS we take it seriously. Our interiors division is of one of only a handful of businesses in our industry that maintains its own warehouse, fitting and logistics team.

Our recent project at 900 Pavilion Drive for Reed, the UK’s Number One recruiter, proved that we deliver no matter the circumstances. Our client is our priority, and this can only be maintained when warehousing is not outsourced. We have logistical control, collating or holding deliveries to suit the client and programme.

We were so proud to be chosen by Reed after a robust tender process and were tasked with delivering best value. Even as the project developed, our blended approach and additional capabilities meant we were able to deliver an audio visual package at the same time. The furniture and technology were all in sync, ready for plug and play, which is a key goal for ACS.

During a time of great upheaval and uncertainty, we developed a strategy aiming to use UK manufacturers, in fact some based as locally as the same industrial estate. Furniture from Spacestor, Ocee, Orangebox, Allermuir, New Design Group and several others indicate how we approach a project, choosing the correct product for each situation.

The new office delivers a true modern workplace, breakout and cafe space intertwined with working areas, spaces to be social or quiet booths for concentration, and the capability to host just about any kind of meeting. These well-designed offices will show adaptability and flexibility as new ways of working continually develop.

It does, however, all come back to my first point, delivery should be part of the sales process, to us it is part of our DNA.

We believe no one else in our industry can better our delivery and control.
