Creative culinary events and bespoke dining experiences are on the menu helping to raise the hospitality bar in Northamptonshire at the award-winning Greedy Gordons venues.
The collection of popular pubs, including The Red Lion at Cranford and The Snooty Fox at Lowick are showcasing an array of delectable dining experiences available to book as the Greedy Gordons team announced its latest awards successes.
The Northamptonshire venues are celebrating having received recognition as Diners’ Choice winners following outstanding OpenTable reviews by discerning diners, who voted Greedy Gordons’ restaurant locations among the best.
The latest prestigious award has been welcomed by Greedy Gordons Director Richard Gordon who runs the popular pubs and venues with business partner Sonya Harvey.
Richard said: “This is another incredible achievement and one we are incredibly proud of, as all our teams work so hard to deliver excellent experiences for all our guests at all our venues.
“We have won several prestigious awards both national and regional which demonstrates how we continue to deliver dining experiences like no other. These latest accolades are particularly special as we have been recognised as Diners Choice winners, and it makes all the hard work worthwhile.”
The team also received regional recognition after being crowned winner of the Best Large Business at the recent Northants Life awards.

Greedy Gordons was crowned winner of Best Large Business at the awards! What makes this win even more meaningful is that it was voted for by our amazing local community. Toasting its latest awards success, the company celebrated by unveiling a new range of bespoke dining experiences available to book which showcase sumptuous steaks, luxurious lobsters, opulent oysters, caviar, Champagne and more.
These exclusive experiences, which are available Monday to Thursday and Friday lunchtime at The Snooty Fox until the autumn, have just launched and include:
- Côte de boeuf – £60 for two which includes a one kilo côte de boeuf with garlic mushrooms, beefsteak tomatoes, pickled onion ring, watercress and triple hand cut chips (offer ends November 27)
- Royal Shellfish Platter and Telmont Champagne – £120 for two which includes half lobster, dressed crab, shell on prawns, oysters, green lip mussels, clams, cockles and a bottle of Telmont Champagne (offer ends October 2)
- Snooty Steak and Lobster – £120 for two which includes a one kilo côte de boeuf, one kilo whole lobster, garlic mushrooms, beefsteak tomatoes, pickled onion ring, watercress and triple hand cut chips (offer ends November 27)
- Oysters, Caviar and Champagne – £150 for two which includes 12 Maldon oysters on ice, 30g of the finest Italian white sturgeon caviar and a bottle of Telmont Champagne (offer ends November 27).
Richard said: “We wanted to showcase our fantastic seasonal produce and also offer diners an exquisite experience that is completely unique, indulgent and delivers the ultimate in luxury. Whether you want to wine and dine business contacts or treat that special someone to a sumptuous and opulent culinary experience, we have created these bespoke dining and drinking options, which will be both memorable and unmissable.”
The dog-friendly group has also announced another menu arrival. To help keep four-legged friends cool in the summer heat, it is stocking Pawbeck iced dog treats. Pawbeck is a product of Purbeck Ice Cream, which is also stocked across Greedy Gordons venues.
Hailed as a healthy treat for canine companions, Pawbeck is packed with natural ingredients to help with pets’ overall health and wellbeing with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
Richard added: “We are big dog lovers and wanted to offer patrons’ pets the opportunity to enjoy a tasty treat that was also good for them to eat. We love the products, which are proving popular with visitors who like to bring their dogs to our venues. We also stock Pawbeck at our Greedy Gordons Farm Shop in Woodford.”
Finally, a recent cigar, cheese and beer tasting event proved phenomenally popular with punters, with plans to host more in the future.
To complement the new experiences there will be a host of exciting, exclusive events to enjoy. These will include a Belgian beer festival event this August bank holiday weekend and autumn activities including a Beaujolais wine event, an Oktoberfest event and Halloween themed events.
