The CEO of an award-winning construction consultancy has said its recent relocation to a newly refurbished two-storey office space in Northampton marks the next chapter in the company’s vision to drive the business forward.

Parm Bhangal, founder of Bhangals Construction Consultants, spent months meticulously planning and designing the company’s new office, in Grange Park, for his team and has described the space as a dream come true.

He originally set up the business 15 years ago, in his childhood bedroom and now leads a 30-strong workforce in the 7,500 square foot building.

“It’s amazing to see just how far we’ve come,” said Parm.

“To have an office space of this size in a prime setting in Northampton, positioned among big brands, is a dream come true for me. I’m so proud of the humble beginnings we’ve come from and I’m excited for our journey going forward.”

The new office – which offers open-plan working, as well as dedicated meeting rooms, a kitchen, and staff breakout areas – also boasts purpose-built desks carefully positioned to allow the best possible working environment for the team.

All the furniture in the new space is bespoke, handmade from scratch by a specialist joinery firm.

Parm said: “I had a very specific vision for exactly how I wanted the office to look, and I wasn’t willing to stray away from that. The way we’ve designed the desks allows open plan, collaborative working, but the team have their own individual, spacious pods.

“We’ve designed the space so it is inviting, has the wow factor and fits our team and how it’s structured. The way the office flows is how the business flows, effectively and efficiently, with the team at the heart of everything.”

The location was also a carefully-thought-out choice. Parm chose Grange Park for its unrivalled infrastructure and transport links to the M1, which will help Bhangals better service customers across an area within a 70-mile radius of the office.

Staff can also now access the office using public transport which will only enable the company’s well-thought-out growth plan.

A yet-to-be-opened upstairs space in the office will soon provide a versatile events area for both Bhangals staff and the wider
business community.

Parm said: “It’s been a massive project, and I won’t deny there were moments of stress, however, the outcome is truly worth it, and I take pride in the modern and inviting atmosphere we’ve created.

“Like with any construction project, we had our challenges. The timescales were difficult as we had unexpected issues with the legals, so we exchanged and completed three months later than planned. This gave us less time to construct, but we didn’t want
to compromise.

“We’ve not been conventional in our design, but I knew what I wanted and was willing to take a risk.

“I can’t wait to see what our incredible team achieves in this space. Welcoming our clients here adds another dimension to our ability to serve and collaborate effectively. The new office is not just a physical space; it’s a vibrant home for our collective success and growth.

“This is our next step to driving the business forward and that’s exactly what we are going to do.”
