With just a few weeks to go until the awards night, the finalists have been announced for the 2025 Northamptonshire Logistics Awards.
Among the finalists were the D&I team at Wincanton in the Diversity & Inclusion Award, sponsored by DSV – an announcement that turned out to be a pleasant surprise for the firm, which was hosting the Finalists Reveal event at its Innovation Centre in Corby.
Finalists in all eleven categories were revealed, with some of the biggest names in logistics among the hopefuls, including Decathlon, DHL Kettering NDC, DSV and Yusen Logistics going head to head in the Big Company of the Year Award, which is sponsored by Woodfines Solicitors.
In the Small Logistics Company of the Year category, Global Road Runners, MI Transport, Pegasus Lift Truck Training and Prigmore Haulage form the line-up while Brackmills BID, Decathlon, DHL Kettering NDC and Sarah Steers from Wickes will compete for the Health Safety and Wellbeing Award, sponsored by RHA.

The first Northamptonshire Logistics Awards were held in 2016 at the John Lewis Warehouse at Grange Park and were established to celebrate the achievements and recognise success in the sector, which plays an enormous part in the county’s economy.
In 2016 there were 24 finalists, that figure has increased over the years, and exactly twice that number are finalists in this year’s awards and more than 300 companies and individuals from across the county have been on the list over the years. In addition, the awards have grown to celebrate and recognise the achievements of all aspects of logistics in Northamptonshire from Apprentice to Team, Community to Rising Star and Environment.
A full list of all the finalists can be found on the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards website, and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Mercure Northampton Hotel on Friday, September 26.
MHA is once again the headline sponsor and category sponsors also include Northampton College, Brackmills BID, Dachser and Linde. The compere for the evening will once again be Clare Bottle, CEO of the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA). There are a small number of sponsorship opportunities still available for those keen to support the annual celebration of the county’s logistics sector.
