Back on track with a strong team

Hawsons have again taken part in the annual Teamworks Rokart Challenge, which was held at the Northampton Indoor Karting Centre and the chartered accountants entered a strong team of five. This time around, James Robinson, Gareth Davies, Emily Ball, Dalia Qarawi and Marah Qarawi represented Hawsons, and they were straight back on the track aiming to secure a place on the podium.

There are 10 heats in the challenge, held from the end of January to the last week of March, with many local businesses taking part. Hawsons joined Northampton Law Society’s Heat 4, up against fellow professional firms, BMTC, Shoosmiths, Franklins and Tollers, on February 15.  The final will be held on April 5.

The purpose of the Rokarting event is to raise money for charities in Northamptonshire. This year the event recognises Kids Aid and The Lewis Foundation.

James Robinson, Corporate Services Manager at Hawsons, said:

“I have taken part in the Hawsons Rokart team for the past five years, it is a great event to network, have fun and use your competitive side to an advantage.

“We try to be tactical but it hasn’t got us to the final yet. Even so, it is great to see different colleagues get involved every year and we never fail to have a good evening.”

Hawsons thoroughly enjoy participating and are committed to putting a team in in the future.

Based on Moulton Park in Northampton, Hawsons provide accounting and taxation services to a wide variety of local and international clients of all sizes.
