Northampton Town FC and All Things Management have teamed up to mark the club’s 125th birthday celebrations in 2022.
While the major milestone is the big event of the year, 2022 also sees the 25th anniversary of the 1997 Wembley play-off final win, which will also be celebrated as the party gets under way.
As the club’s official 125 Partner, All Things will join the club and the supporters and volunteers who form part of the 125th Birthday Working Party Group to stage a programme of events, and the club would like to thank those supporters for their continued input and support.
The game against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, March 5, has been designated the club’s official birthday fixture. The day will see a special commemorative programme and ticket, and some former players will be invited to attend the game. The club will also wear the special 125th anniversary kit for the match, which is sponsored by the Sixfields Travel Club.
Match tickets will go on sale in due course at the usual matchday prices, hospitality prices start from £60 plus VAT.
A special charity game involving Northampton Town Legends and celebrities will take place at Sixfields on Sunday, April 24. Hospitality and tickets are available for this fixture In the All Things Business 1897 Suite.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the 1997 Wembley play-off final, the club will host a special reunion event at Sixfields on Friday, May 20, where members of the 1997 squad will be invited to look back on that famous day 25 years ago. The club open day and pop-up museum event will take place over the weekend of July 9 and 10, where supporters are encouraged to bring their own memorabilia for display from the club’s 125-year history, while the official 125th anniversary dinner will take place on Sunday, September 4, with spaces from £54 and full tables available to purchase.
