Bromham CofE Primary school has received a £1,000 donation from Amazon’s fulfilment centre in Milton Keynes.
Bromham CofE Primary School, just outside Bedford, aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment for its pupils and staff.
The donation from Amazon will go towards helping the school PTA raise money for the children’s playground equipment and other projects, which will in turn enhance pupils time at Bromham Primary School.
Speaking on the donation, Victor Pulido, General Manager at Amazon in Milton Keynes, said:
“I’m pleased to support Bromham CofE Primary School on behalf of Migle Malakauskaite. We hope this donation will lend a helping hand to the staff and pupils.”
Migle Malakauskaite, an employee at Amazon in Milton Keynes who nominated the charity for support, said:
“My children love attending Bromham CofE Primary School and it’s great to hear that Amazon has recognised its efforts with this donation.”
Ms Virk, headteacher from the school, added:
“On behalf of the staff and pupils here at Bromham CofE Primary School, I would like to thank Victor and his team at Amazon in Milton Keynes for their donation. It will be very helpful for the future.”
The donation made to the school was made as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities around its operating locations across the UK.
Amazon is providing disadvantaged students with online STEM courses, as well as teaming up with charity partner Magic Breakfast and delivering more than five million healthy breakfasts to families in England.
