Events specialist Bloom & Co is presenting local businesses with an opportunity to access premium event space at one of Northamptonshire’s most beautiful locations.
The Walled Garden at Castle Ashby – a four-acre space surrounded by Grade II listed walls and set against the majestic backdrop of the house’s Italian gardens and arboretum – will be transformed for a month this summer and next, offering an exclusive opportunity for organisations looking for a large, outdoor event space.
With a number of events already booked for this summer, Bloom & Co will be hosting an Open Day on June 23 so that business owners and event organisers can experience this unique location and the possibilities available to them.
Colette Bloom, founder of Bloom & Co, said: “We specialise in venue finding and event management services for clients across the UK and Europe and we have been keen for some time to have our own exclusive outdoor space.
“Most of our work is with the corporate sector, and through our connections we were introduced to Lord Compton, who invited us to discuss the opportunities that could be available at Castle Ashby if we were to open up the Walled Garden to events. The garden isnot open to the public, so this is an amazing opportunity to have exclusive access to what is a real hidden treasure.
“We have always wanted to run an exceptional, unique venue on an exclusive basis, and to be able to present it to clients as a complete package where they don’t need to organise everything themselves.”
For summer 2026, Bloom & Co will be setting up a premium marquee and temporary structures, along with catering facilities, for a number of events. During that time, and whilst the site is fully set up for events, the open day will showcase for anyone interested, the opportunities that exist at one of the region’s best-known houses, and one that many visitors are curious to find out more about.
Those registering their interest in the open day will be invited to join the team at Bloom & Co any time between midday and 6pm on June 23. They will be greeted with a glass of champagne at the entrance to The Orangery and invited to make their way through the Italian gardens to the Walled Garden where they can get an idea of the options available.
The plan is to make the garden available for between 300 and around 1,200 people in order to make best use of the space. Having the marquee and catering facilities set up and available for the entire period makes hiring the venue more cost effective, and from there the Bloom & Co team can discuss additional features to meet clients’ specific requirements, depending on the nature of the event.
That could be anything from organising team building sessions to arranging DJs or street food stalls, while Bloom & Co is also in discussions with coach firm Country Lion to provide transport to the venue for guests from all parts of the region.
Colette added: “We are very excited about this opportunity and want to be speaking to business owners, event organisers and marketing professionals who’ve been given the task of putting together a large summer event for their company. There are a lot of very big companies across this region and many more businesses these days are looking towards outdoor summer gatherings rather than, for instance, big Christmas events, and this is the ideal setting.
“It’s a beautiful, big open space, perfect for creating an event that is totally bespoke. The marquee is perfect for gala dinners, awards presentations and large staff meetings or away days, which can then be followed with downtime – some teambuilding or garden games, or to spend some quiet time enjoying the open space, maybe even a fairground ride or two if it’s an event for all the family.
“The important thing to remember is that Bloom & Co will handle everything, from arranging a stage and AV presentation right down to stringing up some bunting, so that the client does not having to worry about a thing. “Taking an hour or so to come along and see the venue set up this year is the perfect chance to start planning for next summer.”
Anyone attending the open day will also receive a family ticket to come back and enjoy the Italian gardens at a later date. While the Castle Ashby opportunity is ideal for large gatherings, Bloom & Co is always keen to discuss individual options with any client looking for a venue in the UK or in Europe, or events management support, regardless of the size of the event.
The team have recently worked on projects including the launch night of The Hunger Games On Stage, and are currently planning a number of large hybrid business update and team building days in September, as well as their annual festive parties for their corporate clients across the UK.
