Northampton Saints Foundation celebrated the achievements of its young people, partners, volunteers and staff at its annual Foundation Awards, recognising the positive impact of its programmes over the past year.
Using the power of sport and the values of rugby, Northampton Saints Foundation inspires, supports and educates thousands of individuals each year. Th rough its education, social inclusion, employability programmes and Specialist Services, the foundation helps people build confidence, develop essential life skills and access new opportunities in education, training and employment.
Hosted by Northampton Saints Foundation ambassador Ethan Waller, the evening celebrated those who have gone above and beyond in demonstrating the foundation’s values. Ethan highlighted the importance of recognising the young people who have rebuilt confidence, re-engaged with education and developed new skills, alongside the staff , volunteers, families and partners who support them.
Foundation CEO Jordan Letts reflected on another successful year, with the charity on track to support more than 7,000 individuals this academic year, delivering over 6,000 hours of programme activity. He also highlighted the expansion of Engage provision with the opening of the Wellingborough hub in January 2026.
The awards recognised achievements across education, social inclusion and employability. The CE Academy was named School of the Year for its commitment to supporting young people, while further education and social inclusion awards celebrated learners’ progress, resilience and personal achievements.
Head of Education and Inclusion Emilie Harbottle shared that more than 5,000 pupils have been supported through education and enrichment programmes this year, helping young people realise their potential.
The Employability and Skills department also celebrated a successful year, achieving a 97% positive progression rate for learners completing programmes. Partnerships with organisations including Northampton College, Tresham College, West Northamptonshire Council and local employers continue to create opportunities for young people.
The Contribution Award was presented to Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service for its outstanding support in delivering life skills sessions and helping young people prepare for the future.
The foundation also thanked its volunteers for their dedication, recognising the vital role they play in supporting programmes and communities.
The evening concluded with awards for Fundraiser of the Year and Employee of the Year, celebrating individuals who have made an exceptional contribution.
The Foundation Awards showcased the continued impact of Northampton Saints Foundation and celebrated everyone helping to empower young minds and enrich lives across generations.
