The full league fixture list for Bedford Blues Women has been revealed as Eddie Rennell’s side prepare for a first season at Championship Two level in 2026/27.
Following the familiar league re-structuring across the women’s game over the summer, Bedford have been put into Midlands Championship Two for next season and are set to meet a whole host of new opponents.
They will compete in an expanded ten-team league alongside Sudbury Ladies, Sheffield Women, Birmingham Moseley Women, Lincoln Ladies, Sheffield Tigers Women, Old Albanians Saints II, Sutton Coldfield Ladies, Long Eaton Women and Bridgnorth Women.
The side secured a third promotion in five seasons thanks to an unbeaten campaign in 2025/26, but will know they are in for a big step up in quality as they ascend into the third tier of women’s rugby.
And this is where local individuals and businesses can get involved and help them on the journey. There is a plethora of sponsorship opportunities available, ranging from player sponsorship to the wider portfolio, including coach sponsorship as the team prepare to travel more miles than ever before this season.

All women’s home fixtures will again take place at Goldington Road, and all season ticket holders for Bedford Blues are entitled to free entry at all women’s matches.
While it is anticipated that all of the coming season’s fixtures will take place on Sundays, dates are subject to change, so check the website for details.
In addition to the league fixture list, additional cup fixtures are scheduled to be announced in the near future. Pre-season friendly details will be notified on social media.
There is still opportunity to join Bedford Blues thriving women’s section ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. The team train on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.30pm.
