High-end German kitchen brand Häcker is strengthening its UK retail presence with the launch of a new 1,300 sq ft branded showroom at Bell of Northampton.
Scheduled for completion by the end of August, the major refit will replace Bell’s existing Artline kitchen showroom and marks the next phase of a relationship between the two businesses which has spanned more than eight years.
Bell previously sold Häcker-manufactured kitchens under its own Artline brand, under Häcker’s former white-label model in the UK.
Häcker is now moving in a new direction, building a more visible, consumer-facing brand in the UK while continuing to work with established independent kitchen specialists. The new Bell showroom will become the brand’s retail destination for Northampton and the surrounding area.
Jamie Schneider, Managing Director of Häcker Kitchens UK and Ireland, said: “I’m very proud that Bell is part of Häcker’s success in the UK. Bell has really embraced this new direction and wants to play a central role in building awareness of the Häcker brand among consumers.
“At the same time, it was important that the kitchens were not just visually striking, but practical and relevant to the way people live, cook and entertain. It has been a detailed and collaborative process, working closely with the Häcker team in Germany to refine every element and we hope visitors will discover ideas they may not previously have considered for their own homes.”
Sustainability is also a major focus for Häcker with its wood-based materials being PEFC or FSC certified and sourced from Europe. The brand also uses low-emission, water-based lacquers and converts production wood waste into heat and avoids polystyrene packaging.
Lee Ferris, Managing Director of Bell of Northampton, added: “This is a major refit and a significant investment for Bell of Northampton. We have worked with Häcker for years and their kitchens are synonymous with quality.
