Time is running out for those in the logistics sector to get their entries in for the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards, the annual event that recognises the incredible part the industry’s local companies play within the county.
Entries into the 13 categories, which include Big and Small Logistics Company of the Year and Logistics Person of the Year, as well as the Diversity and Inclusion Award, Team of the Year, Unsung Hero and the Environmental and Sustainability Award, must be in by Friday, August 25.
Sponsors this year include MHA, who are the headline sponsors again for 2023, as well as Dachser, UKWA, More Driver Solutions, C Butt, All Things Business, the Road Haulage Association, Northampton College, Brackmills Industrial Estate, Logistics Solutions Group, Barclays, Route1 Group and Commsave Credit Union. One company or individual from the evening’s winners will be presented with the Chairman’ Special Award, sponsored by Rushlift.
The awards were created to celebrate the success of everyone, at every level, working within this key sector, from drivers and warehouse teams to the recruitment specialists that help maintain the workforces behind the firms that contribute so much to the region’s economy.
Once the entries are in, the finalists will be announced and the team of carefully selected judges will set to work to decide who gets to take home the trophies at the awards event at the Northampton Town Centre Hotel on Friday, October 13. Tickets for the glittering event will go on sale once the finalists have been announced.
