Flying high in the list of best workplaces

London-based corporate travel management company Business First Partnership has been officially ranked No. 2 in the UK’s Best Workplaces 2025, by Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture.

The prestigious recognition highlights the company’s commitment to fostering an outstanding work environment for its employees.

The announcement was made recently at the Best Workplaces Awards held at London’s Grosvenor House, hosted by comedian Richard Ayoade.

In the small business category, BFP ranked second out of 100 businesses shortlisted, an impressive milestone that underscores the company’s dedication to creating a supportive and positive workplace culture.

The company received the highest possible score in every category of the anonymous survey, with 100% of its team agreeing that BFP is a great place to work, far exceeding the national average of 54%.

The survey also included the option for employees to share anonymous feedback, in which one member shared: “BFP is like no other company I have worked for. They take care and pride in making their employees’ lives better and show compassion for people’s home life and families.”

The ranking is a significant step forward from the company’s Great Place To Work certification in 2024.

All companies that earn Great Place to Work (GPTW) Certification are eligible for inclusion in the UK’s Best Workplaces rankings the following year. The resulting listings are based on employee feedback and
rigorous benchmarking.

The awards and certification process is designed to encourage organisations to create better working environments that contribute to long-term success and sustainability.

Nigel Taylor, CEO of BFP, said: “We’ve worked hard to build a culture of trust, support and respect within our team, and we’re thrilled to have received 100% positive feedback through such a respected independent survey.

“Gaining our first Great Place to Work certification in 2024 was a huge milestone, but to now be ranked as the second-best workplace in our category is truly incredible. It reinforces that our efforts to create a thriving, positive environment are making a real impact on our team.

“At BFP, we’re committed to leading the way, not just in corporate travel management, but in fostering a workplace where every team member feels valued and supported. Our high staff retention rate means clients benefit from working with a team that truly understands their needs and travel policies inside and out, which we know sets us apart.

“This recognition is a proud moment for us, and we’re excited to see our fantastic team continue to grow and flourish.”

BFP attributes its success to a focus on employee wellbeing and inclusivity. Initiatives including fully remote working (introduced at the team’s request) and its Health and Wellbeing Hub have made a significant impact on the personal and professional lives of employees. The Hub provides access to services like free counselling, a variety of workouts, healthy recipes and quarterly incentives such as family days out, event tickets and hospitality vouchers.

Founded in 1997 by Nigel Taylor and Belinda Swan, the company’s cutting-edge, in-house technology and meticulous attention to detail, ensures it can manage every aspect of corporate travel, from flights and hotels to event management and itinerary planning.
