The annual Northamptonshire Law Society awards returned to a live event (much to the delight of attendees) in September after a necessary absence of several years due to COVID and lockdown.
Having been awarded the Law Firm of the Year or Large Law Firm of the Year at every ceremony bar one held by the Northamptonshire Law Society since 2015 the chances of Wilson Browne Solicitors retaining the awards seemed statistically possible but, in reality, unlikely.
To hold the title every year except one (with the exception of a one-year hiatus during COVID) would by any measure be a great achievement – a fantastic reflection on the firm’s high standards of service and expertise, contribution to the profession and the community, and also growth in reputation.
Wilson Browne Solicitors has continued to invest heavily in its staff and to also push the boundaries in terms of regional marketing, having invested in the first in a series of TV ads shown on Sky.

In a night of celebration, the firm also had two finalists in other categories: Hayley Mauro, Partner and Head of Commercial Litigation for Solicitor of The Year; and Jessica Leech, Solicitor in the Family Law Team for Young Lawyer of The Year. Both did exceptionally well to be finalists in very competitive categories.
In the newly created category of Support Staff, Business Development & Marketing Director, Wayne Jenkins, was joint winner.

Congratulations are also extended to Nele Klinkosch of the firm’s Private Client (Wills & Trusts) team who took home the NLS prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement (Best Undergraduate Dissertation) award.
