DFA Law has announced three key promotions as it ends the financial year continuing to grow in terms of personnel and service offering.
The three include Kirsty Simmonds, who joined the Northamptonshire legal practice in January 2023 as a Partner and Head of the Corporate and Commercial department, and has become a Member. She specialises in all aspects of corporate law, and the Corporate and Commercial Team works with owner-managed businesses who are buying and selling companies, whether that is expanding through acquisition, through to owners or shareholders looking to exit a business.
Kirsty has not only grown the team, but helped build on DFA Law’s reputation and enhance the services the firm can offer.
Head of the Residential Property team Natalie Grant has been made a Partner. Natalie qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and in her role at DFA Law acts on behalf of individuals and companies in the buying and selling of residential property, shared ownership, lease extensions and transfers of equity and remortgages. During her three years with the firm she has improved processes, increased headcount and grown her own team whilst maintaining the high standards of legal advice and client care that DFA Law is known for.
Finally, Emma Kirkland, who joined DFA Law in 2021 is now an Associate. Emma has worked in Family Law since 2006 and a Family Law Accredited specialist of the Law Society. She is known for her sympathetic yet robust approach to issues such as domestic abuse, cohabitation, divorce proceedings and financial issues arising from divorce.
