Giuseppe said“In the past, we’ve learnt about specific courses at the request of customers, we know that every business is different, and everyone’s needs are different. This was evident when we were asked to conduct an EVAC (Emergency Evacuation course) for operator up vehicles, on one of our customers sites and it’s this kind of thing we like to think sets us apart, as well as the range and standard of the tuition we deliver.“Companies using VNA trucks must have a plan in place in the event of an emergency to be able to evacuate from the truck safely. Recently, a customer’s truck had a hose break which failed to function, thus rendering the vehicle unusable and stuck at high level, with the driver eight metres in the air. The company had to ring for the emergency services to rescue the operator from the stranded vehicle, had they have taken EVAC training, the driver would have been taught how to use a harness and descender to escape. Plans are now in progress to carry out this type of training on site, instead of relying on a very costly escape route.”

Giuseppe’s Italian background also supports with a knowledge of other European languages which means he can often communicate with drivers who don’t speak English as a first language and eliminates the need for translators during training.
With a new Pegasus staff member joining the team this month, the company is planning to introduce a new in-house bespoke system to amalgamate processes, which in turn will enhance the professional services that customers are already used to receiving.
