Episode 24 | Ben & Frazer Are Back

It’s a classic format Ben & Frazer outing for Episode 24 of All Things Business – The Podcast. It’s October and Frazer’s been to Dubai on holiday.

There’s been a big development behind the scenes at All Thing Business. Its parent company All Things Management has merged with Rocket Creative to form a new company: GIANT, a full-service marketing agency. Ben discusses how the higher head count has meant reviewing structure and process, as well as ensuring people are happy and promoting the right company culture. 2023 is set up to be a big year for the burgeoning company, as new possibilities and opportunities reveal themselves.

Attention turns to the upcoming awards, with the Business Awards at the County Cricket Ground nearly sold out and the Education Awards at The Park Inn performing well too, with over 300 people due to be in attendance.

A Closer Look At The Success of Past Events

The team also put on their first event in London, with footballers Ally McCoist and Michael Owen in attendance. They are very complimentary of both men, with Ally’s magnetic personality and Michael’s direct nature being remarked upon.

Back in Northampton, they also recently put on an event with Irish rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll at Hibiscus at Delapre Abbey. Despite retirement, Brian is still in excellent shape, even requesting a gym in his hotel and grabbing a quick 45-minute session between meetings.

GIANT client and Rugby World Cup winner Steve Thompson’s documentary on his struggles with early-onset dementia recently aired, which Ben had a hand in putting together. While Steve’s experience and struggles were well known in the rugby community, those outside the sport have responded very well to the documentary, with over 1000 people reaching out to either Ben or Steve directly. Steve’s charity, the Head On Foundation is due to launch in the coming weeks.
