There’s been a fantastic response to the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards (NBEAs) 2022 and the Northamptonshire Education Awards (NEAs) within the first weeks of entries being open.
Both awards ceremonies will be bigger and better than ever this year – with two new categories in the NBEAs and one in the NEAs, as well as a host of new sponsors coming on board to support these celebrations of two of the most important sectors in our county.
In the NBEAs 2022, there will be 14 categories this year, including the new awards for New Business of the Year and the Sustainability Award.
Sponsored by UK Business Forums, New Business of the Year is open to any business that was founded after January 1, 2020 and which can demonstrate growth and development in its first couple of years. The Sustainability Award, sponsored by last year’s BIG Business of the Year winner, The Grosvenor Group, will celebrate any projects, innovations or actions that have improved the sustainability of a business for the benefit of the environment as a whole.
First-time sponsors this year include HR Solutions, sponsors of the Business of the Year Award, and The University of Northampton, which is sponsoring the Innovation Award in the NBEAs and, for the NEAs, SHEQ Group and Reed, who will sponsor Nursery School of the Year and Primary School of the Year respectively, DFA Law, sponsors of English Teacher or Team of the Year, and The University of Northampton, which is sponsoring the STEM Award.
David Williams IFA will sponsor the new NEA category Environmental Champion of the Year, which will recognise an individual or team that has engaged students and staff in their mission to inspire positive change for the benefit of the planet.
Ben Thomas, from awards organisers All Things Business, said:
“We are ready for another fantastic year, both awards nights will be bigger than ever and if previous years are anything to go by we are expecting some amazing entries and some exceptional winners.
“Having received an Outstanding accreditation by the Awards Trust Mark scheme since the 2021 Awards, we’re excited to see both the NBEAs and the NEAs grow and develop, and we are going to be making some exciting announcements over the next few weeks about the awards nights
“Both the business and education sectors in Northamptonshire are something to be proud of and we believe we should do everything we can to celebrate that.”
