A stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of central Milton Keynes, yet feeling entirely a world away, lies The Park MK.
Tucked away across 16 acres of lush, mature greenery, overlooked by the historic Wavendon Tower famed for its role alongside Bletchley Park during World War II.
When Colmore Capital acquired the former Wavendon Business Park, in November 2020, the aim was to do more than just improve the buildings. The focus was on creating a place where businesses could work well day-to-day, while also feeling part of something broader.
Whilst the addition of an on-site café has been fundamental to providing amenities and act as a central hub for the park, the most transformative change has been the addition of a dedicated Lifestyle & Events Manager alongside a carefully selected reception team, all of whom are welcoming and creative, all helping to bring the site’s community together.
The new role has had a noticeable impact on the workplace wellbeing. Not only does it serve as the heartbeat of The Park, connecting on-site businesses with each other, but also forges connections with local organisations and charities. From free PT and yoga sessions and competitive tournaments to highly anticipated social gatherings like the Summer Funday, these initiatives create invaluable networking opportunities. It also bridges the gap between ‘just going to work’ and truly belonging to a community.
Great care has been taken to cultivate beautifully kept outdoor spaces that cater to every mood and need. Imagine stepping away from your screen to clear your head in the zen garden, go for a woodland walk or jump on your bike and tour the local Redway routes. For those seeking a bit more energy, the park boasts on-site table tennis, mini-golf, PT and a running club. It has its own beehives, where staff can get involved with the beekeeping, and it has also recently started a gardening club.

In addition to this, both the Enigma and Turing buildings now host tailored events designed specifically for tenants, giving those based on site the ability to engage with both colleagues and those from other companies away from their office environment. It is a proven way to boost productivity while simultaneously easing the pressure on individual companies to deliver their own costly workplace wellbeing initiatives.
It is no surprise, then, that the park is proud to host a roster of market-leading businesses, including Pluxee, Spectrum, Securitas, Trek and Unisys. Because every tenant has entirely different operational needs, The Park MK collaborates closely with each occupier, not only to support, but to find ways it can further improve the offering to assist with their requirements or goals.
Businesses based at The Park MK have posted the following testimonials about their experience:
A message from Trek said: “I do yoga and book club as a way to enjoy coming to the office without it being exclusively work focused. The greenery around is very grounding and I very much enjoyed learning about the bees on site.”
Pluxee commented: “This is such a tranquil place to work, the grounds are immaculate. People are so friendly and give it a real community site feel. Such a great place to work.”
