As Silverstone Museum gears up to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 Drivers’ World Championship, the award-winning venue is set to unveil an exclusive exhibition to mark this significant motorsport milestone.
In a world-first for the museum, it will showcase iconic cars that between them have raced in each decade since the FIA Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship began. From May to October the museum will showcase an iconic racing car from every decade, showcasing over the months, a legendary line-up of magnificent machines.
The exclusive exhibition will launch on Tuesday May 13 – exactly 75 years to the day that the first Drivers’ World Championship race was held at Silverstone. The incredible collection of classic and modern day cars on display will celebrate the pinnacle of motorsport performance as the museum showcases cars past and present.
The F1 anniversary also offers a unique opportunity for companies to put their corporate events at the heart of the action and drive business success.
Event experts at the museum highlighted how it’s the perfect time to plan a pitstop at the venue to celebrate business achievements and get teammates revved up to inspire corporate clients.

To mark the anniversary, the museum’s events team also announced additional autumn booking options offering special discounts for a limited time only.
Businesses that are quick off the mark can take advantage of an exclusive offer open to corporate clients looking to book a space. Any company making an enquiry by Friday June 27, will receive a 10% discount on any venue hire in autumn 2025 (September to November). This offer is not applicable for museum closures.
