Leave the work behind and relax and have fun

Kettering Park Hotel & Spa has a varied programme of entertainment lined up for the next few months, combining live music and good food, fun and laughter, and a chance to enjoy the hospitality of one of the area’s leading venues.

On February 8, there’s the opportunity to get nostalgic and dance the evening away at the 80s Disco Night. Starting at 7pm and with tickets costing £26.95 per person, including a one-course supper, the event will showcase some of the decade’s iconic classics, presented a fantastic live DJ.

A week later, on Friday February 13, the hotel will be hosting one of its popular regular Jazz Dinners, where guests can enjoy live music from tenor Al Nichols, accompanied by James Clemas on piano, Richie Bryant on drums, Sandy Burnett on bass and trumpeter Andy Dickens.

Tickets are £46 and include a three-course dinner as well as the live jazz music. The event starts at 7pm, and for those who want to enjoy a further treat, or can’t make it on the night, there will be another Jazz Dinner later in the year, on June 22.

Things get colourful and competitive on March 13 when the hotel’s latest Drag Bingo event calls upon guests to enjoy one of the most outrageous bingo nights in town, hosted by two drag queens all the way from The Flying Handbag in Blackpool.

Tickets are £38 and the price includes pink fizz on arrival, a one- course supper and nibbles, three rounds of bingo – numbers and songs – followed by a disco until late.

There will be plenty of prizes on offer, including a free stay at the hotel with breakfast included.

For any event at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa, accommodation is available in one of the hotel’s luxury bedrooms, starting at £95 for single occupancy or £100 for two people. Guests have use of the pool and spa facilities during their stay.

In addition, the hotel will be hosting its Wedding Showcase on March 1. The event is free to attend and will bring together a host of suppliers to meet every need of the happy couple, who will also have the opportunity to see a range of indoor and outdoor wedding set-ups bursting with ideas for how they can make their day extra special.

Andrew Hollett, General Manager at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa, said: “There’s always a lot going on at the hotel. A lot of people know us for our excellent business and meeting facilities, as well as our renowned restaurant and bar, but maybe don’t realise what else we have to offer.

“The Jazz Dinners have been popular for some time now and we’re also delighted to be hosting our fourth Drag Bingo night, when we are looking forward to welcoming our hosts back after what has been a sell-out event in the past.”
