The long-standing partnership between Northamptonshire County Cricket Club and Hevey Building Supplies has been extended for a further three years, cementing the special relation- ship between the club and the county-based business.
It is the fifteenth year that Hevey has been involved with the club as a partner, a relationship that is built on the shared values of strengthening foundations and investing in people and in the game, and, of course, a shared passion for cricket.
The association runs through all aspects of the sport, and Hevey supports everything from first-class cricket right through to the recreational grassroots game.
The renewal means that Hevey will remain as Principal Club Partner until 2028, and that the players’ pavilion and restaurant will continue as the Hevey Suite. The firm’s signage was updated ahead of the new season to reflect its new branding.
Daniel Vernon, Chief Operating Officer at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, said: “We highly value the support Hevey have given us over the last 15 years and we are delighted that they’re continuing as a Principal Partner of the Club.
“We are proud to work with a Northamptonshire-based business and want to support them in their business goals the best we can.”
Hevey has built its reputation on service, reliability and flexibility since it first opened its doors in 2001. With over 50,000 products in stock, including building materials, joinery and plumbing, as well as electrical, ironmongery and decorating, Hevey is the one-stop shop for all building needs.
The firm offers services dedicated to both homeowners and tradespeople, calling on the expertise of in-house kitchen and bathroom designers, milling services and brick matching, so that customers can expect the knowledge and expertise they need for any renovation or building project.
The experienced team can assist with projects of any size from branches in Northampton and Kettering, and from Huntingdon and Sudbury to cover the neighbouring counties.
As part of its partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, Hevey uses the venue year-round for its staff, clients and associates, to enjoy cricket matches, including all T20 fixtures, and to take advantage of the excellent hospitality provision at The County Ground.
Mick McGuckin, Sales Director at Hevey, said: “We’re really proud to be continuing our partnership with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. It’s a special relationship that goes beyond commercial benefit – it reflects our shared values, our passion for the game, and a commitment to supporting cricket at every level, from grassroots through to the professional stage. Over the past 15 years, it’s been a great way to connect with our customers, colleagues and community, and we’re excited to build on that for the years ahead.”
