Northampton Saints Foundation has announced that its Foundation Day 2026 has raised an incredible £70,448 to date, with more funds still to come.
Held in March at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, alongside Northampton Saints’ thrilling 28–27 victory over Newcastle Red Bulls, the day brought together supporters, partners and the wider community for a celebration of rugby and the foundation’s impactful work.
From the moment gates opened, the stadium was alive with energy. The Supporter Village offered fans the chance to meet Saints players and take part in a wide range of fundraising activities. Highlights included the ever-popular raffle and auction, featuring exclusive Saints memorabilia and unforgettable experiences, alongside family-friendly attractions such as the Foundation Spin-The-Wheel, face painting and special flags.
On the pitch, Saints players showed their support by wearing red T-shirts, while a special half-time activation, proudly sponsored by QLM Search, showcased the foundation’s work and its growing impact across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.
Founded in 1880 by Reverend Samuel Wathen Wigg, Northampton Saints began as a way to guide young people through the power of sport and the values of rugby. Today, that legacy continues through Northampton Saints Foundation.
The foundation works to inspire, support and educate thousands of individuals each year. Through its education, social inclusion and employability programmes, alongside specialist and wellbeing services, the foundation helps people build confidence, develop essential life skills, and access new opportunities in education, training and employment.

With a vision to empower young minds and enrich lives across generations, the foundation continues to make a difference across local communities.
Jordan Letts, CEO of Northampton Saints Foundation, said: “I couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved in making Foundation Day such a success, from our dedicated staff and volunteers to the players who gave their time so generously.
Every pound raised will directly support our life-changing programmes across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes. We are incredibly grateful to every supporter, partner, sponsor and member of the community who contributed, whether by donating, taking part, or simply being there to create such a fantastic atmosphere.
It’s that collective spirit that makes days like this so special and allows us to continue making a real difference in people’s lives. It was also fantastic to have Loughborough Lightning show their support by wearing red for the foundation on the Sunday.”
The foundation extended special thanks to sponsors Approved Business Finance, Workwear Northampton, Keepmoat, VMS Limited and half-time sponsor QLM Search for their support. Thanks also went to Levy, Polar Bars, Northampton Saints staff and players, all raffle and auction prize donors, Little Faces Face Painting, Balloons for All Occasions, Ethan Waller and Tom Wood, and photographers Stuart Vincent, Red Hat Photo and Adam Gumbs for helping bring the day to life.
The foundation is now seeking sponsors to be part of Foundation Day 2027. Organisations and individuals interested in getting involved and helping to make an even bigger impact are encouraged to get in touch.
